How Can You Support
I AM
THAT I AM
Orthodox
Christian Mission
People have ask -
after their visit to I AM THAT I AM how they can help. We
have received some support from individuals concerned with
our Church and we are tremendously thankful! We ask that you
too might consider being part of our fellowship and/or
efforts by doing the following:
Worship With Us
–
whether you are a member or even an occasional
visitor, you are part of our I AM THAT I AM Orthodox
Christian Mission family. Though we are a small fellowship
of devout believers, we desperately need
your
prayers to strengthen and encourage us.
Pledge Your Support
–
you can help us grow by
pledging your financial support. Even if you are not a
full-time or part-time member, your financial assistance can
help make a tremendous difference. I AM THAT I AM Orthodox
Christian Mission is a calibration of the Old world Order of
Aaron (Ex
28,29-Num 1:47-Ps 133:2) the New world of the Order of
Melchizedek (Heb 7,8-Ps110:4) with Jesus Christ as High
Priest (Heb 3:1-4:14 through 5-9:11 through 28). Our Bishop
is not equal to Christ, which is the tradition in the
Orthodox Christian
religions. We
are slowly growing and
in need of
passionate and devout people to become involved
in this exciting New
ministry!
Volunteer –
faith without works is dead
(James 2:14-26). How better to show your love and commitment
to the Lord than by becoming involved in various aspects of
this ministry? If you are moved to serve, please contact us
at
(Contact).
Pray
For Us
–
remember us in your prayers, asking that the Lord
strengthen, help, and direct us according to His divine
will. The prayers of the faithful avails much!

What
Is A Pledge?
A pledge is simply a commitment
that individuals or families make each year to I AM THAT I AM
Orthodox Christian Mission, Inc. It can be an amount of money
promised to be given during the year, an amount of time promised to
work on I AM THAT I AM Orthodox Christian Mission activities, or the
use of specific talents with which you have been blessed which can
aid the mission.
One important reason to pledge concerns the individual. Giving, like
attendance at the divine services, is an important aspect to our
worship as Orthodox Christians in the United States of America.
Should we miss a liturgy, our church family will take note and
lovingly wonder why we weren’t there. In the same way, a pledge
serves to solidify our financial and time commitments, and aids us
as a reminder should we slow down in fulfilling our promised giving
and/or service to the Lord.
Another reason to pledge is that
it forces us to address this important facet of worship in a
disciplined and thoughtful manner. As in every other aspect of life,
when we promise to do something and fulfill our promise, we grow as
individuals. Likewise, when we make promises to God and fulfill
them, our faith grows and we are able to put our trust more
confidently in the Lord. We learn intuitively the truth of St.
James: “faith without works is dead.” God honors promises made and
kept.
